Math: Identify whether each number is a prime or composite. A prime number is defined as a number that is only divisible by one and itself, for example 3, 5, 7, etc... A composite is a number that has more than one factor.
Language Arts: Complete the vocabulary packet (crossword and word search.) Study for the vocabulary quiz* on Friday.
Other: If your child would like to participate in the student council election, they must return a signed permission slip by Monday, September 21st.
Don't forget to sign and review your child's homework packet.
* Every Friday we will have a vocabulary quiz. The students will be asked to correctly spell the words (1 point per word) and to write a sentence with context clues (1 point per sentence.) Context clues provide the reader with a hint as to the meaning of the word.
